The Rožman’s mill is in the valley of the Ščavnica River. It was built in 1890 and was known as ‘Feržov mlin’. In 1962, Jože and Martina Rožman bought the mill and it became theirs. It is widely known because, for several decades, it was the place where the locals brought their grains to be ground. The knowledge of grinding is passed on from one generation to the other. In the past, the mill was driven by a large water wheel, powered by the Ščavnica River. Today, the grinding is powered by electricity. There, you can exchange grains for flour and take a tour of the mill.
